The Rhetorical Purpose reminds you to do it like the ancient Greeks.”

The Rhetorical Purpose started out as a radio show with one of my former students in the Spring of 2011. We explored various public speaking topics, such as research and anxiety (always a favorite!), as well as student life and times. Unfortunately, the radio station schedule became too full to continue the show, so this blog was born to take its place.

It started out with a nice, tight focus, but has since morphed into a blog about stuff that I love: singlespeeding, Sherlock, road trips, self discovery, and all sorts of vintage crap.

The Rhetorical Purpose: choose yours wisely.
